Founder, Release Logic™ — Fractional Supply Chain and Operations Leader

I founded Release Logic™ after 15 years in operational leadership roles across agro-industrial, electronics manufacturing, and retail distribution sectors in APAC, ANZ, and East Africa—markets where port congestion, supplier volatility, and infrastructure uncertainty aren’t occasional disruptions, but the everyday norm.

Through these experiences, I discovered that the real challenge for manufacturers, importers, exporters, and distributors isn’t a lack of data, tools, or processes. Instead, it’s operational constraints—poor visibility, weak alignment, delayed decisions, and inconsistent execution—that often go unrecognised until they’ve become the status quo.

These constraints aren’t unique to emerging markets. Even in regions with mature infrastructure, such as Europe, organisations struggle for the same reasons. I help businesses identify and remove these hidden barriers, making them more reliable, resilient, and consistently able to meet customer expectations—wherever they operate.

Why the name Release Logic™

Release Logic™ isn’t a piece of software, and it isn’t a slogan. It’s a description of what I actually do.

Across 15 years running operations in agro-industrial, electronics manufacturing, and retail distribution — in markets where port congestion, supplier volatility, and infrastructure uncertainty are the everyday norm — I kept seeing the same thing. The businesses weren’t broken. They were constrained. Working capital trapped in the wrong inventory. Decisions delayed past the point they mattered. Capability sitting in people who were never given the visibility or authority to use it.

Release is what happens when those constraints come off — capital, capacity, decisions, and people all perform closer to what they’re actually capable of.

Logic is how I get there. Not an algorithm, and not a checklist — a disciplined way of thinking through where performance is actually getting lost, built from years of doing it under real commercial pressure, not from a textbook. It’s the same reasoning applied every time, which is why it holds up across industries and geographies most frameworks don’t survive.

Release Logic™ is that reasoning, made repeatable.

Organisations rarely fail because they lack data, tools or processes. They struggle because they don’t consistently recognise what’s happening, align around the right priorities, make high-quality decisions, execute with discipline and learn from outcomes. By improving those capabilities, organisations become more reliable, more resilient and better able to meet customer expectations.

How the Framework works

The Release Logic™ framework was built from a specific observation: operational problems persist not because teams lack effort or intelligence, but because the decision chain between a confirmed plan and a delivered outcome keeps breaking down in the same predictable places.

Visibility gaps mean decisions get made on data that no longer reflects reality. Alignment failures mean the team is executing against three different versions of the plan. Governance structures confirm decisions but don’t enforce them. Execution accountability stops at the organisation’s boundary, not the supplier’s.

These breakdowns are the operational constraints Release Logic™ exists to identify. The diagnostic methodology maps them systematically — not to produce a report, but to give the people running the operation a clear and honest picture of where the chain is failing and why.

Background

Over the past 15 years, this methodology has been applied within mature planning environments—including SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, Netstock, and Microsoft D365—demonstrating that the core constraint persists even when technology is sophisticated: it was never the system itself, but the consistency of decisions made using the insights those systems provided.

The outcomes highlighted in the case studies—$1.3M in annual freight savings, $7–10M in working capital released, and 99% stock accuracy—were driven by closing that decision gap, not by investing in new platforms or adding headcount. The real obstacles—poor visibility, weak alignment, delayed decisions, inconsistent execution—are structural, not technological or regional. This framework has proven effective under real commercial pressure, with real teams, wherever those same decision breakdowns occur.

My Approach

These are the patterns that shape how I work on – every diagnostic and every engagement.

The calculation isn’t the hard part

Data informs decisions. Judgement creates outcomes. I’m less interested in the model and more interested in what gets decided because of it.

Problems are rarely where they first appear

I look for the originating breakdown, not the most recent symptom. The fire is real. The question is what kept relighting it.

Frameworks exist to improve thinking

I value practical usefulness over conceptual elegance. A framework that doesn’t help someone make a better decision in a difficult moment is decoration.

Think in decision systems, not process maps

Process tells people what to do. Decision systems help people understand why — and what to do when the process doesn’t cover the situation in front of them.

Capability over dependency

I want clients to think better — not to need me in the room every time a difficult decision appears. The measure of a good engagement is what the team can do after it ends.

Work backwards from outcomes

I start with what the business needs to be true and work back to what decisions need to change. Activity that doesn’t connect to a business outcome is noise.

Operating principles

These principles shape every engagement — from the first diagnostic call to the final recommendation.

Empower Independent Thinking

Confident decision-makers are built by strengthening judgement, critical thinking and commercial awareness — not by creating dependency on tools, templates, or outside input.

Diagnose Before Prescribing

Root causes come before recommendations, ensuring every action addresses the real problem rather than its symptoms.

Simplify Complexity

Complex operational challenges become practical frameworks, clear decisions and achievable actions that busy teams can use immediately.

Enable Better Decisions

Business performance improves when people recognise reality, evaluate trade-offs and make sound decisions with confidence.

Build Capability That Lasts

Organisations are left stronger than they were found — through developing people, improving ways of working and embedding sustainable capability.

Currently

Release Logic™ works virtually with manufacturers, importers, and distributors across ANZ, APAC, and EMEA — with EMEA-based, on-the-ground delivery expanding from September 2026.

The Insights section documents practical supply chain thinking relevant to that market — written for operations leaders who already know what good looks like and are working to get there.

If the problem keeps resurfacing despite your team’s best efforts, the right starting point is a conversation.
